The Fuguing Tune Project

The fuguing tune project is a venture to encourage music literacy and independent

part-singing in all ages. The specific genre of fuguing tune lends itself well to being taught with solfege and can be used effectively by any congregation in worship or in any SATB school, community, professional, or church choir.

The document below explains the

Historical Context for fuguing tunes, contains a Collection of 80 for general use, and provides a Suggested Teaching Sequence including 10 sample lesson plans.
